Our Art Academy is located at LeyDan Art Gallery, in the heart of the Olde Sandwich Town. With a charming old character, the bohemian atmosphere our art gallery will win you in a heartbeat.
At LeyDan, we are learning to Make Art and we Make Art to learn.
At LeyDan, we see the process of Making Art from an intuitive and experimental perspective, an adventure drifting away from the traditional artistic customs and practices, as opposed to a strict adherence to tight, axiomatic art canons.
About us
The Art Academy was opened in September 2005 teaching mostly adults in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Sculpture, with regular hour classes and workshops. Today the Academy is focusing on the new generations, teaching children from the age of 4 and up. The adults still can enjoy classes on a regular basis too.
