Today it was an exciting day. While the kids continued their drawing project at Leyla’s Art Academy, I and Leyla had to step out for an art event which no dedicated artists could miss: Stories of the City,

Denis, a teacher himself – geology, well, kind of far from arts but with the heart of a teacher, stayed with the kids at the gallery and … they had fun while working hard, as we learned when we came back from our event. Denis has a special way to his students. Today it was corn lips and loud burping.
Well, we all had fun, in different ways.
Leyla and I had fun at the Stories of the City. I mean … Let’s put it from the perspective of a non-educated artist, which is what I am. The high class, hard core artistic protipendada (read aristocracy; nobility) of Windsor was present at the SB Contemporary art Gallery. On the walls, art. Exquisite, unique, intriguing art – photography, sculpture, painting . Photography – indeed. With the unconsciousness of an illiterate connoisseur, I tried to find the subtlety factor which would put any of these works above everything I have ever done and presented. I am still working on this mentally challenging exercise.
We also saw a performance show which reminded me again that the real motif of art and the actions leading to it is actually an unknown universe, with so many parallel worlds and perceptions.
Returning at the gallery, we found all artistic effervescence and silliness.
Later in the night, we went to the second venue of the Stories of the City.

All in one, a good day. Also, the first day of snow.
